The Stanford Big Data in BioMedicine conference brings together thought leaders focused on translating vast data sets into actionable scientific knowledge that transforms the way we diagnose, treat and prevent disease.

The Big Data in BioMedicine conference will be held on the Stanford University campus in Berg Hall, located on the second floor of the Li Ka Shing Center for Learning & Knowledge, 291 Campus Drive, Stanford, CA 94305.

How do I register?
You can register for the conference by using the “Registration” link on the website https://bigdata.stanford.edu/ . When you register, select a registration type, and provide your first and last name, payment information, and email address.
What are the acceptable methods of payment?
Credit card. You can use the secure online form to pay via credit card and get immediate confirmation of your registration. MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted. You will receive an email registration confirmation sent to the email address used in the registration process. This email will serve as your receipt. Please keep this email registration confirmation to show at the conference registration.
Can I register more than one person at a time?
Yes, you can register more than one person or a group of people using our registration system. After entering the registration information for the primary registrant of the group, select “Next” to continue the registration process. On this page you will see the option to add additional registrants; continue to follow these instructions until you have completed entering your group’s information. Alternatively, you can select “Corporate Attendee,” which allows you to bring up to three people from the same company.
How do I make changes to a registration I made online?
You can log in to the online registration site and make changes to your registration . Use your email address or confirmation number to access and log in to your registration.
I registered online. Should I have received a confirmation for my registration?
Yes, you should have received an email confirmation for your registration. If you did not automatically receive a confirmation, please send an email to: email@example.com noting your problem, and someone will respond promptly.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
To cancel your registration, please follow the registration links provided to you in your confirmation email or on https://bigdata.stanford.edu/ on the “Registration” tab. There will be directions to follow for cancellation. Cancellations received on or before May 1, 2014, are entitled to a full refund. Cancellations received after May 1, 2014, will be given a 50 percent refund.
What if I need to send someone else in my place?
Substitutions are allowed with the written authorization of the registrant who is unable to attend. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or bring a signed letter to the on-site Registration Desk, along with a new completed registration form.
I am a member of the press—do you have press registration?
We welcome professional editorial staff of print, online, and broadcast media. Complementary registrations are extended to the “working media” with the same amenities as other full conference registrations. Please send an email to email@example.com and detail your request.

Attire is business casual. We do recommend you dress in layers, as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary.
