Jon Bernstein, MD
Associate Professor, Pediatrics
Jon is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Medical Genetics), Chief (Interim) of the Division of Medical Genetics, and the pediatric medical director for the Stanford Center for Undiagnosed Diseases. He is the medical director of the Stanford Cleft and Craniofacial Center. His clinical interests include autism, developmental and craniofacial disorders. At Stanford, he is engaged in the application of new technologies (whole genome sequencing, multi-omics profiling and machine learning) for the diagnosis of rare disorders. He is additionally working to develop and assess pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models of diverse genetic disorders associated with developmental disability.
