Mintu Turakhia M.D. M.A.S. is a cardiac electrophysiologist, outcomes researcher, and Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University. In his clinical role, Dr. Turakhia performs invasive procedures, such as catheter ablation and device implantation, to treat heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Turakhia has an active, highly-funded clinical research program in Atrial Fibrillation and for Stanford’s new Center for Digital Health. He is also the principal investigator of several multi-center trials to test digital health tools and wearable devices to screen and manage heart rhythm disorders and manage drug therapy. Dr. Turakhia is a Fellow of the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, and Heart Rhythm Society.
