Curt is a Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University. As Associate Chair for Information Systems in the department of Radiology and Medical Informatics Director for Radiology at Stanford Health Care (SHC), he manages SHC imaging informatics activities to support the clinical, research and education missions of Stanford Radiology. Curt’s research is focused on reducing diagnostic errors through real-time decision support systems and other information technologies. His biomedical informatics laboratory develops novel machine learning algorithms that provide intelligent assistance to radiologists, clinicians, patients, and other consumers of imaging information. His laboratory’s translational approach enables rapid evaluation and dissemination of the resulting software.
