Scott Boyd, MD, PhD
Assistant Professor, Pathology, Stanford
Scott is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Stanford University. His lab has developed high-throughput DNA sequencing and single-cell methods to study lymphocyte populations in human immune responses to infection and vaccination, as well as in immunological disorders such as allergy and autoimmunity. The Boyd lab’s current focus is the analysis of the gene rearrangements encoding antibodies and T cell receptors that form the basis of immunological specificity and memory in health and disease.
